Liability Waiver

While yoga is beneficial to your health and well-being, certain bodily changes can occur during any physical activity. You should promptly notify your instructor of any dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort or heart palpitations, or any other unusual physical symptoms during your yoga class.
Participant understands that it is the sole responsibility of the participant to inform the instructor of any, and all, pre-existing health conditions prior to beginning each class. Participant understands it is their sole responsibility to notify the instructor of any change in their condition.
If you have concerns about your health or suffer from any of the following disorders, regardless of age, I strongly recommend that you consult a physician prior to beginning your yoga program. 
1.Chest pains 
2.A cardiac history, such as but not limited to, angina, heart attack or stroke
3. Severe respiratory problems
4. Insulin-dependent diabetes
5. High blood pressure

Privacy Policy

Some personal data is collected by UpliftingyogawithLaura before or when you attend your first weekly yoga class or workshop. This is for the purposes of meeting insurance company criteria as well as for your health and safety at yoga. Health information is also used to tailor sessions to suit your individual needs.

All information gathered by UpliftingyogawithLaura is treated as confidential and will not be shared with a third party. If you grant permission, data from forms is kept in a secure password protected spreadsheet and only viewed by Laura Fisher.

Insurance

My Insurance Company request that I keep a record of my customer’s data and registrations for five years after your last class with me. If you wish to alter any of your data, review how it is used or wish to request its return to you let me know.

Your Rights

Your rights Data Protection Law means that you have extensive rights regarding the collection, storage and use of your data.

Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) you have the following rights as an individual regarding your data:
